Taqasim is a magazine for people interested in Middle Eastern Dance, Music and Culture. Now in its 17th year, Taqasim is the UK's oldest magazine serving
the Middle Eastern dance community.

Special Announcement

Due to 2 deaths in Afra's immediate family and Afra being ill for several weeks, the magazine production has been put on hold. Afra is also about to stand down as editor after almost 10 years and 14 years involvement with the running of the magazine. Whilst a handover to Taqasim's new home is organised the magazine is continuing to stay on hiatus. However, all current and new subscriptions will be honoured and service will resume again later on this year. Please be patient with us whilst the change takes place.

Afra would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support and the kind messages she has received about her bereavements and her illness.
